While Western man continues to attempt to find meaning and purpose in life in a post-Christian culture many atheists seem to continue to flaunt the satisfaction that comes from their godless worldview. Atheists such as Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens argue that atheism is the only way of life that fulfills all of man's desires. Yet, this is contradicted by every atheist who lived before them from Bertrand Russell to Friedrich Nietzsche. In their most candid of writings atheists have shown that they desire and need God--that their life is not complete without God.
